Harbor Freight Tools is a famous store for inexpensive tools. This store on Howe Ave is the perfect location next to Home Depot. I like to stop by this store sometimes when I'm going to Home Depot. Especially when I'm looking for tools. Harbor Freight may have what I'm looking for with less money. The cashier at the checkout counter always greeted me when I walked in even when she was very busy. I can find someone here much easier if I have questions. Most of the tools or other items are less expensive than the other hardware stores. But some of the tools don’t last very long. It is perfectly fine if you know you just need it for one job and you’ll save a lot of money. The store here on Howe Ave is one of the best looking stores in this chain. The management keeps up this store very well.

I’m a contractor and this was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had. I bought tools for $369.73 and returned them the very next day. Harbor Freight refunded only $275.12 and kept $94 as a so-called “restocking fee” with zero explanation. I’ve never seen this happen at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Customer service was terrible and unprofessional, with two employees who clearly didn’t care. Low-quality tools, shady policies, and no transparency. Feels like a scam. I will never shop here again and strongly warn other contractors to stay away.

Great for tools and this store might even have a pregnant squirrel or two. So sweet.
