I can't put my finger on exactly how I feel about Harbor Freight. Dare I say I have always been a DeWalt fan boy as that is the brand I was raised on. HF does not carry DeWalt. That being said I came in today for a few Hercules branded tools as my company pays me back for them. I have no issue with HF tools, they do what we need them to. Sure you can compare them to the big name brands, but again they work for us. Lets add that the staff today was very helpful and didnt have any sort of attitude as if I was bothering them. Im still DeWalt for life, but im at peace with what HF has to offer.

Harbor freight on Dunn Avenue was great. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I sure wish they had one near me.

Super helpful employees. I was looking for a socket set for my husband's birthday gift and they didn't have any on the shelf and the guy checked the back and found the last one.

Very well-maintained store. Things are organized and great prices. Even though the shopping mall that it is in may run down. The store itself is well kept. Things are in stock and in the right places. It's a welcome feeling when you go into the store. Very good bargains for tools that cost a lot more by other name brands at other retailers.

Gotta watch what you buy beyond basic hardware tools. Regarding quality, the more intricate and ill designed products tend to be a higher gamble on lasting. However, the return policy is solid as is the floor team who are effective and amiable.
