By far the best Inter Island Freight carrier to choose. Inter Island freight varies tremondously between carriers and forwarders, but dealing with Honolulu Freight Service surpasses them all by price and service. Highly recommend inter-island freight service to Honolulu Freight Service.

Customer service was friendly and professional on the phone and answered all my emails in a timely manner. Although the office building is a little hard to find and the parking is tight, everyone was very helpful. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because after I made a payment, I was contacted a day later stating that I did not pay yet. However I had scanned my receipt and filed it away so I was able to identify the service member that conducted the transaction and everything was sorted out correctly. (It's always smart to hold onto receipts for large purchases anyways!) The freight service was right on time and in great condition.

The team at Honolulu Freight have been exceedingly helpful in setting up our account and also the pick ups for our shipments on other islands. We ship to the mainland and my rep in California was very helpful with details and time lines. This is simply the most affordable and easy to deal with shipper I have ever dealt with! The customer service for Honolulu Freight Service was a life saver in arranging delivery to Joint Base Pearl Harbor. They was very responsive to my needs and help coordinate the urgent delivery to my customer. Great service.

1.) pro: the people in the office are very nice 2.) con: there’s no automatic notices letting you know if your pallet is picked up/dropped off I had to call bc I thought it was taking a long time & follow up with them: July 4th-July 30th is what it took. 3.) I had a couch for delivery 8-11. No one knows what is happening that day. The delivery person comes in at 2:00 & says I can’t deliver to your apartment. Door to door delivery means outside like a pallet. I had asked my salesperson they said it wouldn’t be a problem in the initial consult—-she’s on vacation of course. I have to scramble last minute to find movers to move the couch from outside to inside the apartment at 2:00 when most places close at 4:30/5. The guy who delivered said they sent only me. But he looked & saw it was a couch. He said he spent the day delivering chemicals and then I was his last stop. He purposely knew he would have an issue last. I don’t mind paying. But leaving your customer in a lurch at the last minute is unreasonable & unfair...I would have prepared and made reservation for such thing if I knew it would be an issue
