The 9 gal shop vac I purchased, showing on the shelf with what parts are included in the box looked great until I got it home and unpacked only to find the hose, extensions, floor clip on were all missing and I paid full price that we found later there were markings on the box as to the hose being missing. Not so, many parts were missing. I asked the the guy at the register why it was full price with missing parts and his pat answer was that well people buy them anyway. Yes, we were the suckers that got this box, the only one on the shelf with the almost all the parts missing noted on the back. From now on, whatever we buy, will be opened before we leave the parking lot. It is my gas I am spending to come back to get what I paid for in the first place. The manager, a lady, and a worker, a lady, were very helpful and replaced and opened the replacement for us to inspect before we walked out. They are a good example of a good employee. The man just did a return and replace receipt before we knew if there was another to get but it worked out. Watch the boxed items that contain parts.

Needed watch pins. The store clerk found them in the back storeroom talk about service and on a Saturday too!. Great job Harbor Freight Santa Clara

Had what I needed at good price. My first time there and I will return. Customer service was great 👍.

This place could be a bit cleaner but overall decent location. Everyone knows what you get with Harbor Freight, cheap tools that work fine. I recommend it if you're a home DIYer.

Went when the store opened and asked where an item was. After about 10 minutes of searching in the area I was directed to, a store manager nearby noticed but didn’t offer help. When I asked the front desk again, he walked me over to where it was and made a dismissive gesture. The item turned out to be on a different shelf behind where I had been looking. The cashier was polite, but the interaction with the manager felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. Not the level of customer service I expected.
