Stopped in to pickup a bunch of stuff during PLS. After picking out a few items, asked to use the restroom, only to learn that they “don’t have a public restroom”. I put stuff back without purchasing and went to get a coffee at Panera next door to use their restroom. Over the years this location has gotten less accommodating, I’ve stopped by this location about a dozen times and used the restroom a few, previously it’s been locked and an employee let me in. I’m a regular HFT customer(3-4x a month), although I typically go to another location and never had an issues using the restroom at any other location. Only this one.

Some of their tools are good some are garbage Bought a jumper pack 6 weeks ago with the 1yr plan It took a dump again I brought it in Cashier saw receipt that shows was bought in natick. He said “that’s a long ways from here how did you get here?” Which I kinda interpreted it as that area is known to have a large Latino Brazilian community and their demeanor was very bad as if they were discriminating against me. I told them I jump lots of cars and many diesels this one was getting weak couldn’t start a Jetta diesel. He refused to exchange it then I grabbed the small 2000 jump pack figuring I could parallel it with another 1700 I have so I’m not lugging around a heavy jump pack all over the yard. Manager said it won’t work and insisted I had to get the 3400 which weighs a good 35 lbs or tough luck so I ended up walking out with that monstrosity and they didn’t refund the $49 for the protection plan even though it was within the initial 90day warranty. When I asked the cashier he was silent Other employees there were glaring at me like how dare I return a Jump pack that lasted 6 weeks. Horrible experience. I waited over an hour to talk with someone at corporate to let them know my story. If I had to go to a harbor freight I’ll drive a little farther and go to the natick store which have been way nicer. It’s not the first time I’ve been offended at this store My moms name is linked to the phone number on the account and I received off color remarks insinuating I had a woman’s name. Very nasty employees.

The manager and the old lady are extremely rude. I was within the return window time and they refused to return an item I only tested in my car once. I never had this problem to return any item in any other store in Massachusetts, this is the first time. I recommend not buying from this store as they tell you you are allowed to return within 90 days and then won’t let you, it’s a big scam to make you comfortable to buy and then you have to keep it.

I just went in to buy some 0.035 tweco style contact tips for my welder, everything was all good until I got to the line for the register, there were two working lines available. I was next in line for the second register, the manager makes me wait, pulls the second guy off the first cash register line and lets him go, makes me come to the first cash register line, then I had to go BACK to that line because he finished his purchase already. He said they were running off of one line. I call BS and I call racism. I’m a young Hispanic Male and was full of a store with predominantly while people. There should be an investigation with this place. This happened 05/03/2026 at 9:20am Sunday morning. Whoever the manager is, needs to fix his act.

This place has everything i need. Gun cases, padlocks, airbrushes, every tool you can think of, compressors, ammo boxes, surveillance cameras, etc. Bought over $200 worth of items and the cashier was nice enough to go on his phone and use a coupon that I didn't know about to save me about $25. A-Plus for customer service.
