Harbor Freight

I'm not big on Chinese built tools (or anything else from China). I do however love to shop at harbor freight...i actually wish that they were even bigger and more well stocked with even more tools and consumables. Will I shop at harbor freight again... absolutely. This harbor freight is pretty nice. I don't like the fake "welcome to..." when you walk in, but it's a step on the right direction. Eye contact is actually mandatory when dealing with the demographic that shops here...we know "fake" from "real"...walk up to us and ask us how we're doing and find out what we're building...then direct us to everything we need. The last paragraph is the reason they don't get 5 stars...but I'll always do business hereband you should too.

Came to this location today and spent $400 on a new toolbox. The guys I dealt with were rude and acted like they were annoyed by having to bring the box outside. I offered to do it myself but they refused and made me wait on them. I normally wouldn't care but one guy who was the worst was actually a supervisor. I always shop at harbor freight for my tools but I do not recommend this location if you're gonna spend big money on a toolbox or something large.

Normally I have good experiences, but yesterday I had to process a return. I was able to process, but the attitude given by the supervisor Cynthia was certainly the worse. As a customer I don’t expect to be treated with disrespect, direct confrontation, but overall with a tone of superiority. The whole time I felt like I was being laughed at by the tone in which she was speaking with, and with her comments like @I don’t care”. I don’t know how she was able to escalate to such position if she “doesn’t care” about the customer. If I could, I would rate less than one star.

This place has gone downhill quick. I used to come in all the time because the associates were so friendly. When I entered the store, I only recognized one associate (Anthony) out of the 3-4 I normally interact with (Gavin, Roman, and Josh). He is such a sweetheart and always has time to answer any questions. He is never in a rush and doesn't talk to you like you are dumb if you have to describe what you are looking for cause you don't know the name of the tool. I went to check out and I had asked the to speak to the store manager about how helpful Anthony was to help me and one of the associates at the registers said he was in the office. They paged him but he never came out. They asked if I wanted them to page him again and I told them no. The associate apologized and said that it was normal for their store manager to not respond as he is always in the office for most of the day. They also low-key said that was the reason most of their management had left. That's just wrong. But shout-out to Anthony for the amazing customer service!

Purposely rude employee. Disrespectful impolite smart aleck mean woman with a bad attitude and a lack of customer service skills. She should not be allowed to work with humans.
