I attempted to return an item with a valid receipt, but the refund was refused unless my ID was scanned. This policy makes me uncomfortable. I understand requesting ID when there is no receipt, but that did not apply in this situation. It’s only a matter of time before a private equity firm buys it, if it hasn’t already. This is an impressive strategy for ensuring customers don’t come back.

Finally we have this location in this area 🙌 it was time to have it, I used to go to the Walzem location like 20 miles away from home. Thanks guys❗ ⚡Updated on November 28, 2025 Well today I was here, and I saw a Harbor Freight worker, ( he was David) pushing some carts from the parking lot towards the store, so I showed to him a picture on my cell and asked about where can I find a 5" inch rotary polish back pad, he kindly told me: aisle 1, you will find everything referring to polish, I heard another worker asking if he need some help, and later he was helping other customer. I felt here at Harbor Freight, like a kid in a toy store, amazed with all the tools, accessories, garden equipment, etc. I didn't want to leave the store. Let me tell you, I highly recommend you to come to this paradise where I'm sure you'll find what you've been looking for to start your projects. I give you guys a 5 well-deserved ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ golden stars!

The workers were very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and friendly. I couldn't ask for anything more. The quality of tools has gone up as the years have gone by. HF used to be a place where shade-tree-mechanics get their tools for cheap, but now HF even offers high end tools for the professional mechanic. I see more and more professional mechanics going to HF now.

Typical harbor freight experience. Never enough cashiers so lines are usually long. Employees nowhere near accessible to assist you in finding items on sale. This location is 1/3rd the size of what it should be making navigating the plethora of items very difficult.

Not an A, more like B-or C+…My first visit to HFT after hearing what a joy it was. Looking for scissor jack, misc screw drivers, and 5w-40 oil. 2 employees told me scissor jacks on Aisle X, looked up and down several times, not a one. Asked again: A: back wall…looked back & forth back wall, no go…finally an employee as me again, and eventually found the last one on back wall in far corner., Asked if they had motor oil, the guy responded we got x & y oil weight, which one you need? Which was neither of those. They had no small jewelers screwdriver set for small electronic work, had others I needed. Got to the long line at register, a 10 min wait. No military discount. Prices ok but not fantastic. They try to insist on getting your phone #…if turned down, they provide a small threat, then without this receipt, no return or exchanges…most other stores now can look up anything if you have the credit card you used, they don’t even want receipts.
